Aliipoor: Insight, shared point of Qom and Nabatieh/ Lebanon is made of Insight, resistance, knowledge

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – Younes Aliipoor, while expressing his satisfaction of being in Nabatieh at the opening ceremony of Qom's cultural- economical week in Lebanon,said:“the city of Nabatieh which is known as Imam Hussain's city is sacred to us and I salute you the scholars, administrators, governors and people of Qom. “

He stated: “I congratulate Lebanon's people and resistance forces on the recent election of Lebanon on behalf of Iranian people.”

He reiterated: “this election showed that Lebanon is on the frontlines of fighting oppression, Takfiris and ISIS.”

He referred to Insight as Qom and Nabatieh's common point and also referred to the supreme leader's speech in which the leader named Qom the city of Insight and said: “Nabatieh is also the city of Insight and I believe this commonality will be good for us.”

He also added: “I appreciate the efforts of all those who made this event possible, specially the compassionate efforts of Nabatieh's Municipality and Governorate.”

He also said about Qom in a different part of his speech: “Qom is the origin of Iran's Islamic Revolution, shrines of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and the love for Imams and Masoumeh (SA)'s shrine and more than 440 Imam Zadeh exists in Qom.”

Deputy of Qom's pilgrim affairs said: “world's biggest Shia seminary school and many maraji are in Qom and every year 25 million pilgrims travel to the holy city of Qom.”

He also added: “in addition to those who come to Qom for pilgrimage, it is a place for different religions to communicate as many people of different religions visit the maraji or study or research such as the representatives of 123 country who live and study in Qom.”

He continues: “all of these features has caused the holy city of Qom to become a province under the guidance of the supreme leader.”

He also pointed to the importance of Jamkaran mosque and different features of Qom and said: “in this year's anniversary of Imam Mahdi’s birthday, more than 4.5 million people gathered in this mosque and prayed.”

He also said in regard to Qom's capacities: “Qom has 56 state and private universities and you are all familiar with the capacities of Qom's seminary schools and these are parts of Qom's scientific capacities.”

He also reminded: “in terms of handicraft, Qom's silk carpets are known all around the world and more than 2500 industrial units are currently active and this province has high industrial and commercial potential.”

He stated:“in the Qom's cultural- economic week's exhibition only a small part of Qom's capabilities will be shown and we hope to strengthen it with the expansion of cultural and economic relationships between these two provinces.”

He also declared readiness for mutual investments in all fields and said: “we are ready to hold Lebanon's cultural- economical week in Qom.”

He continued: “we had planned for Qom's governor to give this speech but due to the presence of the minister and the chairman of the Islamic parliament it did not become possible and I am here instead of the governor but hopefully he will visit Nabatieh as soon as possible.”

Qom's cultural week will be held in Nabatieh from May 9th to 15thin Nabatieh, Lebanon and will be open to public.
