(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Bahraini human rights activists have expressed grave concern about the condition of another young man in the custody of Manama’s security forces.
Ammar Abdul Ghani was reportedly subjected to severe beatings following his arrest several days ago.
According to the activists, he appeared before Bahrain’s Public Prosecution on Wednesday over ‘fabricated’ charges and was later moved to solitary confinement.
Manama has jailed thousands in its clampdown on dissent in recent years. Many of those jailed have emerged from detention centers with horrific tales of torture and abuse.
