Hussayni Kashani: Qom’s Cultural Week in Lebanon must display Qom’s cultural capacity

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA - Director General of Culture and Islamic Guidance Organization of Qom Province spoke about this week-long event in Lebanon and said, “since culture is the dominant theme of this event, it has to display the cultural capacities of Qom. We have done our best to use this capacity and be the worthy representative of the city abroad.”

“in total, 140 pieces of art in the fields of miniature, paiting, illustration, poster, calligraphy and photography have been prepared and will be showcased in this event. We will also have 20 people represent us in this event in different fields and disciplines. Regarding recital of Holy Quran we have an international figure and in total 5 people will be sent to Lebanon in this regard”, SayyedMousaHussayniKashani added.

“in terms of plays, since language is an issue, we will present a silent play regarding defending righteousness and resistance against tyranny. This play includes 3 actors”, he continued.

Speaking on books he stated that an individual will present the publishers and publications of Qom. According to Kashani, 25 boxes of books have been sent to Lebanon so far. Many pictures have also been sent.

According to Kashani, 5 individuals will be sent to Lebanon to hold live workshops of calligraphy and illustration. Artists will have live performances for 3 hours a day in the fields of graphic design, art, illustration, etc. regarding movies and photos, 1 individual will be present to show documentaries. Cultural packages, in line with Qom’s cultural capacity and cultural products, will also be given to the attendants.

In the end, HussayniKashani said, “ with Mr. Ali pour, SalehiAref, and Qom’s Governor’s efforts, we hope to hold such an event that will display Qom in its perfect way, internationally.
