(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen deputy secretary general (Pakistani Shia religious-political party) Allama Syed Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi has said that martyrs are real heroes of our society and the nations who remember their martyrs cannot be defeated by any power.
He expressed these views at the “Martyrs Night” during annual convention of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen being held in Islamabad.
Allama Ahmed Iqbal paid tributes and homage to great martyrs of Pakistan particularly those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of motherland.
He said that enemies of Islam were advancing their illegitimate interests by defaming Islam and Muslims by use of their proxies such as Daesh, etc.
MWM convention is being attended by its members and officials from all over Pakistan. They will also present their performance reports at the convention.
