(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Jailed Bahraini opposition figure Sheikh Hassan Issa had his appeal hearing postponed yet again on Tuesday.
The former deputy leader of the opposition Al-Wefaq bloc is appealing a ten-year prison sentence. His next hearing has been scheduled April 11.
Sheikh Issa was found guilty of “funding terrorism” in connection with a 2015 bombing on Bahrain’s Sitra Island.
Rights groups have labeled the conviction as politically motivated.
