(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Bahrain’s Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society reported on Friday that it documented a total of 1000 anti-regime protests in the Gulf kingdom since the start of the year.
According to an al-Wefaq leader, Bahrain has also witnessed nonstop demonstrations since February 14 – the date marking seven years since the start of the country’s popular uprising.
In a brief statement, the group added that Bahrainis are continuing to demand justice, democratic reforms while rejecting tyranny and dictatorship despite the Manama’s campaign of repression.
