(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Mohammad Salim Engineer said on Saturday that Iran’s active diplomacy prompted the country to act successfully in fighting terrorism, too.
Speaking in an interview with Islamic Republic News Agency on Iran’s role in reinforcing resistance movement, he added that thanks to its active diplomacy, Iran as a big and major country in the region, not only acted successfully in fighting terrorism but also it managed to forge interaction with other regional states.
But of course, there are differences between Islamic states, he said, noting that powerful Islamic states should do their best to preserve Muslims’ rights.
Unity among Muslim nations is very important and Islamic Ummah should keep vigilance against the US and Zionist regime’s plots, he said.
Condemning the US support for terrorism, he said that the US backs terrorism in various forms and they are trying to portray Islam and Muslims as terrorists.
Islam is against terrorism and all Muslims are duty-bound to fight the scourge, he said.
