(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Twenty-third Muscat International Book Fair was opened with the participation of the Iranian Institute of Cultural Exhibitions and the Ahlulbayt World Assembly.
At the ceremony, which was held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, Mohammad bin Sultan al-Bousaidi, the Soltan adviser and the governor of Dhofar, officially opened the exhibition, and Oman Media Minister, Abdul Manan al-Mansour al-Hassani, introduced the exhibition.
In the course of the exhibition, 500,000 titles of books are expected to be presented to visitors, which represents 35% growth compared to the previous year.
Over 783 publishing centers from 28 Arab and non-Arab countries have participated in this year's fair.
As in previous years, the Ahlulbayt World Assembly's publication has been participating in this exhibition.
The presence of Hujjat al-Islam "Dr. Imani Moghadam", the deputy of the cultural affairs of the Ahlulbayt World and the face-to-face relationship with the audience, is one of the hallmarks of this international organization at this year's fair.
