(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Three Bahraini youths were picked up by Manama’s security services on Tuesday in what marks the latest arrests in the Gulf kingdom.
The three were arrested in the country’s northern town of A’ali after the security forces – reportedly aided by special operations units – stormed their houses.
In recent days similar raids have been reported in Bahrain’s Diraz, Sanabis, Sitra, Dumistan, Karzakan, Abu Saiba, Buri and Shakhura.
Since the start of Bahrain’s popular uprising in 2011, thousands of people have been arrested without proper cause and often tortured in detention.
