(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A funeral has been held for a student who was killed by government forces during protests calling for the release of prominent cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
Nigerian sources said on Monday that at least two young students were killed by the security forces during the ongoing protests in Kaduna which broke out on Sunday.
The protests turned violent after security forces used teargas to disperse the peaceful demonstrators, who had taken to the streets following reports of the deterioration of Sheikh Zakzaky's health condition.
