'Many of the Islamic governments have been deceived or terrorized and prevent unity among Muslims,' Tehran's Provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani said in the second sermon of the Friday prayers.
He urged followers of all sects of Islam including Shia and Sunni Muslims 'to be united against enemies' conspiracies'.
Referring to the role played by Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement in the collapse of the terrorist group of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, the cleric said it was a sign of Iran and Islam power.
'We wanted to prove the US the power of Islam, Iran and Hezbollah and wanted to make it clear to US that it should not play with lion's tail,' Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani said.
On November 21, Commander of Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Qasem Soleimani in a letter to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei announced the termination of the corrupt tree of ISIS and congratulated the glorious victory to the Islamic World.
ISIS defeat in its last stronghold in Syria’s Al-Bukamal city on November 19, marked the end of this terrorist group's self-proclaimed caliphate. Supported by certain regional and international powers, the terrorist group declared its establishment in Iraq and Syria in 2014 committing countless crimes against humanity in the name of Islam which took place in line with the Islamophobia strategy.
'With the liberation of Abu-Kamal having been completed, the US-Zionist ISIS’s flag having been lowered and Syrian flag having been raised, as Your Excellency’s assigned soldier in the battlefield, this humble person announces the termination of the dominance of the corrupt cursed tree,' Commander Soleimani wrote in his letter to Imam Khamenei.
