Saudi Arabia hostility attempt to cover up failures in region

Speaking live on Tuesday night, President Hassan Rouhani referred to the recent earthquake in Kermanshah province and appreciated all those who provided relief to the people in the province, saying: "I pray to the Almighty for His blessings on those who lost their lives and wish swift recovery for the injured".

Stating that the government is beside the dear people of Kermanshah, he added: "The entire Iranian nation, including the dear people of Kermanshah, government officials and the armed forces helped the people in this sad incident".

The report of the government's 100-day performance is now available at dolat.ir website, said the President adding: "Allowance of people covered by Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation and State Welfare Organization of Iran will increase five-fold".

"Annually, 985,000 new jobs have been created and we will strive to increase it to 900,000 in coming years," he said, stating that 50,000 new jobs have been created in IT.

Dr Rouhani also said: "We have started a good development in rural areas with $1.5 billion of credit", adding that the government would continue its policy of harnessing inflation.

We have reached a two-digit growth for the first time, continued President Rouhani saying: "We have had $23.1 billion definitive finance agreements with foreign countries in the past 100 days".

I have ordered the Ministry of Welfare to leave enterprises to the people, he continued, saying that the government is seeking to resolve issues in the banking system

We will not have severe currency fluctuations, he continued, saying: "We are trying to make relations with the world more commonplace and closer with the neighbours".

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also went on to say: "Increasing production should be accompanied by finding export markets".

"Economic conditions in agriculture and industry are good, and this year, the growth of the mining and housing sector has also improved," Dr Rouhani added.

Iran is literally a transit hub of the region, he said, adding: "We invested $1 billion in Chabahar, which will be opened next week".

The Rasht-Astara railway is in the final stages with the participation of Iran and Azerbaijan, continued the president.

Stating that the basis of the 12th Administration's foreign policy is to continue to interact constructively and respectfully with the world, President Rouhani continued: "The problems of the region must be resolved through dialogue instead of confrontation".

"Iran's assistance to the Iraqi government and nation was the basis for the stability of the region,
 he added, saying: "The recent cooperation between Iran, Russia and Turkey shattered the foundations of terrorism in the region".

"We have started a very good relationship with the European Union. Relations with Russia and most of the neighbours are better than the past," Dr Rouhani continued, saying: "We have better relations with the countries of the region except for a couple of countries. Today, we have better relations with Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Qatar. We may have problems with a couple of countries such as Saudi Arabia, which they have fanned".

He also went on to say: "Saudi Arabia is looking for tension with Iran to cover up defeats in the region and internal problems".

"Different countries have their own conditions and we must consider our own national interests in any condition," he continued saying.

The two wings of "diplomacy" and "military power" are necessary for realising the goals of foreign policy, he continued saying.

Our main strength is people, but we will certainly strengthen our military power and diplomacy, added the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"The successes of the JCPOA are indestructible; we resolved the international problems that had been set against us," said Rouhani adding that cancellation of the UN resolutions against our country is a great achievement.

We have enjoyed the openings of the JCPOA so far, he said, adding: "The new US administration's attempts to cancel JCPOA has so far failed, which shows its firmness".

"Only one or two countries supported the new US administration, but Europe, China, Russia and the rest of the world took a different stance," President Hassan Rouhani added.

He also went on to say: "Enemies of the JCPOA in the region were Israel and Saudi Arabia who failed; but we have anticipated moves for all the possible conditions".

In the current situation, no matter is more important than national solidarity, continued Dr Rouhani, stating: "The balance of branches, institutions and armed forces must be maintained and the government will seek further engagement with them".
