Olivia Stephanie Hyne recounted one of the reasons for her inclination to Islam as the experience of being in Iran and familiarity with the culture of Islam.
Noting that Islam is a religion that can answer many of the human questions in relation to life, she said, "Her inclination to Islam was a truth that God bestowed to her."
The Australian Muslim convert prospected inviting her friends to Islam among her future plans and said, "I am still at the start of my path to understanding Islam, and I hope to find, with the help of other friends, a comprehensive and complete understanding of this heavenly religion."
Regarding the time and place of her conversion, she said, "When I was preparing for a trip to Iran, I was unaware of the mourning days of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (A.S.), and when I arrived in Iran, I was very happy that I converted to Islam coincident with martyrdom anniversary of someone who has been very influential in my acquaintance with Islam."
Sayed Muhammad Jawad Hasheminejad, director of the non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs of Astan Quds Razavi described the journey as one of the things emphasized by Islam, which, besides creating different experiences, also clarifies many facts for human beings.
"Many who travel to Iran, besides familiarity with Islam and Iran find out that there is a false flow against Iran, but the truth never remains hidden", he added.
Noting that 22000 people from 22 countries have converted to Islam in the Razavi Holy Shrine so far, he said, "We maintain connection with these people through cyberspace and help them in knowing more about Islam by sending them religious content."
