Iran's President: Enemies seeking new plots in region after being defeated in different types of conspiracies

Dr Hassan Rouhani Head of Executive Branch, Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani Head of Judicial Branch, and Dr Ali Larijani Head of Legislative Branch will discuss the most important domestic and regional issues.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Dr Rouhani said: "Many of the issues in the executive, judicial or legislative bodies, which are related, are being discussed".

Dr Rouhani noted: "Some of the decisions taken at other meetings, including the meeting of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, should be discussed at the meetings of the heads of the three branches regarding their operation and implementation, which was one of the topics of today's meeting".

At today's meeting, we discussed our nation's hope about the country's future economic, political and cultural conditions, said Rouhani adding: "All media, including the state media, cyberspace managers and various tribunes, should be aware of the important point that the target of major world powers, especially the United States, and what we see in the region towards Iran, is to ultimately make people disappointed".

He also went on to say that all media must be alert about these conspiracies in order not to be trapped.

Dr Rouhani also highlighted the issue of credit institutions' debts as one of the topics of today's meeting, saying: "Firstly, these institutions must have been granted permit to work. In some cases, there were troublesome institutions and people faced some problems, so it was decided that the representatives of the three branches pursue this issue in order to resolve it as soon as possible".

President Rouhani also referred to discussion on regional issues as one of the other issues of today's meeting, saying: "The peoples of the region achieved great success, while in 2014, we saw terrorists were increasingly active in Iraq, and ISIS seized the great city of Mosul".

"This danger was also predicted for the whole country, including Baghdad. Syria was in the same situation, but today, the Iraqi, Syrian and Lebanese people, with the support of their own armies and the support of friend countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, were able to get rid of these problems and the issue of terrorism is coming to an end, and there is no other city in the hands of ISIS and the terrorists," added Rouhani.

On the other hand, the president said, "they sought to promote separatism and disrupt the geographical boundaries of the region, which were unsuccessful. Today, we see great successes in the region, and with these successes, it is natural for the United States and the Zionist Regime and their followers to be upset and angry".

Dr Rouhani also referred to the Yemeni issue, saying: "It has been years now that the poor people of this country are being bombed and cholera has spread and people are starving, and the sea and air routes to help the people of this country are closed, and this is intolerable".

The head of the Supreme National Security Council said: "The situation in the region today shows that the conspiracies that were in place have been thrown down, so they are looking for other plans and plots in the region, and people need to be vigilant in this regard, and the authorities must pay attention and do the necessary planning".

The president emphasised: "What is needed for the stability and security of the region, and the necessary coordination in this regard will be discussed at the meeting of the heads of the branches".

In the end, Dr Rouhani expressed appreciation for the presence of the great people of Iran in the great and universal ceremony of Arba'een procession.
