We have plans for different scenarios

Dr Hassan Rouhani Head of Administrative Branch, Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani Head of Judicial Branch, and Dr Ali Larijani Head of Legislative Branch discussed the most important issues of the country and the region.

At the end of the meeting, President Rouhani expressed satisfaction over the meeting of the heads of the three branches and said: “Regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Americans are looking for a conspiracy and their main conspiracy is to make our people sceptical about the future of the economy and the progress of the country”.

Dr Rouhani added: "On behalf of the three branches, I must thank the great people of Iran who, as always, stood up against these conspiracies. And the US’ plan is based on creating disappointment among the people, but the people responded decisively both in practice and words”.

"Of course in this meeting, we discussed different scenarios that may be ahead of us, and there is the required coordination for our future decisions," the president said.

Dr Rouhani also said that economic issues were another focus of the meeting, adding: "We also discussed economic issues in detail and the ways to eradicate them to make people feel completely safe and know that for their investment and their economic activities, there is complete security in the country”.

We predicted mechanisms about this issue, said Rouhani adding: “In order to better attract investment, especially from Iranian entrepreneurs working overseas, we made good decisions so that all investors and entrepreneurs could make the best use of the economic environment of the country within the framework of laws and regulations of the country”.

Dr Rouhani also referred to the issues of the region, adding: "In our region, the Global Arrogance is always seeking instability and insecurity and creating disagreements between the countries of the region, and we believe that the issues of the region should be resolved through coordination by the countries of the region, and there is a necessary mechanism for that”.

Referring to the efforts of the Global Arrogance to create insecurity and spread terrorism in the region, he said: "Today, God willing, we are resolving this issue in the region step by step, and I hope that the countries of the region can get rid of terrorism in the near future, and terrorism is eradicated from our region and the Arrogance cannot achieve the goals it pursues”.

Dr Rouhani also spoke about the efforts of the Global Arrogance to change the geographic boundaries of the region, saying: “The arrogance was not able to achieve its goals in this field”.

The president also said that the Arrogance will continue its efforts to create disagreements with the aim of selling weapons, saying: "We have to find solutions to the disagreements that exist in the region. In the same vein, killings and bombing of the region should be stopped, and we discussed this issue at the meeting, and the three branches are in line with each other in this regard, and, God willing, the necessary measures will be taken”.

President Rouhani also went on to say: "We decided to hold the meetings of the three branches in shorter and more regular intervals".

“I believe that the requirement for the country to go along the path of progress and excellence is that all the forces and branches of the country be united under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, and undoubtedly, consultation and coordination of the three branches is very influential, and it was the Supreme Leader’s emphasis that the heads of the three branches should convene more, and tonight we decided to hold the meetings of such nature in regular and shorter intervals”.
