Who lies behind curtain of Iraq’s partitioning?

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Following the destruction of ISIS, the Middle East and Iraq were in need of a new scenario in order to create insecurity in the country according to the theory of constructive chaos, thereby keeping it from reaping the results of combating terrorism.

That is why the scenario of Kurdistan’s referendum was planned and implemented by Masoud Barzani, who had greatly cooperated with Saddam’s political structure. The originator of this scenario is America’s former ambassador to Iraq, who, owing to a few privileges, was able to play an important role in the transformations and insecurities of Iraq.

This man, who today acts as Barzani’s counselor, is none other than Zalmay Khalilzad, an Afghan who received American citizenship, and is fluent in Dari and Farsi. He was a classmate of Paul Wolfowitz, one of the most well-known neoconservative figures in America. Later on, in the ‘80s, he became acquainted with Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Reagan administration’s national security advisor, in his political life.

In any case, he has experience in creating insecurity and relations with Iraqi armed groups. Some of the accusations raised against him are his creation of insecurity which led to the killing of Shias and Sunnis in Iraq (sectarian war), and cooperating with terrorist groups in Iraq.

Today, as Barzani’s advisor, he is responsible for laying the groundwork for the partition of Iraq, and starting a sectarian war in the country. His closeness to neo-conservatives, namely the Zionists, and his acquaintance with the region’s culture and politics render him a reliable asset for the Americans, as he is promised to hold a new position in Iraq.
