Afghan VP stresses necessity for Tehran, Kabul cooperation

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Second Vice-President of Afghanistan Sarvar Danesh underlined necessity for cooperation between Tehran and Kabul in confrontation with regional challenges on Wednesday.

He made the remarks in meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Afghanistan Mohammad Reza Bahrami.

Danesh appreciated Iran's cooperation and also underlined the necessity for expanding of bilateral ties in the fields of economy and culture.

The second VP of Afghanistan called mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of fight against narcotics important and underlined strengthening cooperation in this field.

The two sides also discussed problems of Afghan refugees in Iran as well as security affairs and fight against terrorism.

The ambassador announced Tehran's intention to facilitate affairs related to education of Afghan refugees' children and granting fellowship for Afghan students in Iran.

He also promised to create the necessary facilities for Afghan businessmen as well.

The two countries signed an agreement last year that upon it the two sides obliged to issue long-term visa with multiple entering situation for businessmen of the two countries.
