According to ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – following the arson in Islamic Center of Imam Ali (A) in Stockholm, Ahlul Bayt World Assembly has issued a statement condemning the incident.

Parts of the statement go: “Ahlul Bayt World Assembly strongly condemns such acts and demands the identification and prosecution of the perpetrators this dogmatic and inhumane incident".

The full text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of God

The arson in Islamic Center of Imam Ali (A) in Stockholm saddened our hearts.

The Assembly strongly condemns such illogical actions. Mosques and temples’ sanctity needs to be protected as mentioned in human rights statement.

According to primary analysis the fire is evident to be an arson. Expressing our deepest worry about such heartbreaking incidents, we strongly condemn it and demand prosecution of the perpetrators of the crime.

Undoubtedly, such violent crimes have always been slammed by human rights activists. It is necessary not to make hasty decisions through which some groups and parties which deny the basic human rights and spread fear be exposed. Such inhumane actions are openly in conflict with religious and human values.

It is indispensable to consider terrorism a global issue in days when many countries in Europe and Middle-east witness terror attacks carried out by ISIS and Takfiri groups’ elements and mercenaries.

These heartbreaking incident should bring us together and determine us to stand against terrorism in solidarity.

Stressing on human rights, freedom, and religious doctrines, Ahlul Bayt World Assembly demands the international community and all religious and law institutions and organizations to do their best in spreading patience, respect, solidarity, coexistence, peace and friendship.
