The program was held at Maharlika Dar-ol-Quran of the capital city with the participation of a number of Filipino Muslims.
The center also hosted a ceremony on the auspicious occasion on April 24. It was addressed by Muhammad Tanhayi, the Iranian ambassador to the Philippines, Abdul Raouf Sayyedi, the imam of the city’s Blue Mosque, and Hojat-ol-Islam Akbari, the director of Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Manila.
A message of congratulation by the Director General of the country’s Commission of Muslims’ Affairs, was read out in the program.
Eid al-Mab’ath marks the anniversary of the day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was chosen as God’s messenger.
It is annually celebrated by Muslims all over the word.
