Deputy Secretary General of Al-Wefaq, Sheikh Hussein Al-Daihi, said in a statement on Sunday (April 9, 2017) that "terrorism has no religion and principles and does not belong to proper humanity," describing what happened as heinous crime and offering condolence to the Egyptian people and victims' families.
Al-Daihi stressed on "the need to seriously fight terrorism and dry up its sources and origins of funding, arming and incubation," highlighting that "Islam is innocent of the terrorism and culture of terrorism, violence, Takfir and that of tearing down the communities," according to the statement.
