Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Khorasani, director of the Quran Encyclopedia Department of the Center for Quranic Culture and Teachings, told us that volumes 2, 3 and 4 of the encyclopedia are being published.
He said the three volumes are expected to be ready by the time the Quran exhibition begins.
The fifth volume is also being compiled and will be published later this year, he noted.
The international Quran exhibition in Tehran is the world’s biggest Quranic event.
The expo, which is annually held in the Iranian capital during the holy month of Ramadan, has numerous sections each one dedicated to a certain activity related to the Quran.
As for the Encyclopedia of the Quran, Hojat-ol-Islam Khorasani said the center’s scholars are working on the 15th and 16th volumes.
He said the 15 volume of the work is going through the last stages of editing and proofreading.
Compiling the encyclopedia began at the center in 2002, the cleric noted.
