(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Muslims in Kashmir particularly followers of AhlulBayt lack Qur'anic activities such as reading, fluency, reciting and orthoepy (tajweed), hence Anjuman Shari Shia has been trying to fix these problems and improve Qur'anic culture.
In this regard, Anjuman Shari Shian headed by Aga Syed Hasan al-Mousavi al-Safavi established independent Dar al-Qur'an at Magam Shiite town in Central Kashmir's Budgam district for teaching reading, fluency, reciting and orthoepy (tajweed) of Qur'an and Qur'anic concepts especially for youth and women.
Aga Syed Hasan al-Mousavi inaugurated the Dar al-Qur'an on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, member of AhlulBayt World Assembly Aga Syed Hasan al-Mousavi said that the Holy Quran is fountain head of entire learning, Quran is word of Allah (SWT) and books on various branches of knowledge are human studies of Allah’s creation.
"These books deal with specific subjects and topics. A book on one discipline is quiet on other disciplines. They are no way comparable with the Holy Quran" he added.
He went on to say that the Holy Quran is a treasure of our knowledge and learning that man may need till end of time. All knowledge originates from the Holy Quran. This is the basic truth of Islamic doctrine of knowledge. We need to get out of the darkness of ignorance and move towards the limelight and bright future.
At the end, praising the audience he urged people of Magam to cooperate in this center.
Addition to students, seminarians and youth, prominent figures of Magam and subarban areas prevailed in the ceremony.
