(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Bahrain scholars called Sunday (February 12, 2017) for the participation in the "grand funeral procession" of martyrs Rida Al Ghisra, Mahmoud Yahya, and Mostafa Yousef, whom the authorities buried today in presence of only two representatives from each family.
The Bahraini scholars stressed in a statement, "In response to the cries of the martyrs' families and their bereaved mothers, and in denunciation of the brutal repressions and blatant abuse of religious and humane rights of the martyrs' families, in matters related to preparing and burying their sons according to their free will; and with anger against those who prevented the Prophet [Mohammad's] establishment to perform prayers and funeral procession in presence of all believers, and with anger for forbidding the grieving mothers and sisters and longing families from seeing their beloveds for the last time, in the least form of necessary humane rights.
we therefore call for "grand funeral processions" to be held tonight, after all prayers and rituals for burial nights. Let all mosques be filled, and let the funeral procession to include all areas of Bahrain."
The scholars urged all those capable of participating in the processions to do so.
