Islamic Revolution anniv. marked in Pakistan's Rawalpindi

A special ceremony to mark the 38th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran was held in Pakistani city of Rawalpindi.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The ceremony hosted by Iranian cultural center was attended by a large number of people from different walks of life.

Some Pakistani poets on the occasion recited their poems on the late Imam Khomeini and Islamic Revolution.

Renowned Pakistani poet and director general of Language Promotion Department Iftikhar Arif also attended the ceremony.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, an exhibition of Iranian handicrafts was also held. People took keen interest in the Iranian handicrafts.

A series of programs are being held across Pakistan by the Iranian embassy, consulates and cultural centers to celebrate the 38th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
