(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Intra-Muslims unity marked the Youm-e-Mustafa (PBUH) that the Imamia Students Organization (ISO) hosted at the University of Karachi.
Sunni and Shia Muslim scholars spoke at the congregation.
Allama Ghulam Abbas Raeesi, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani and Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan spoke at the Youm-e-Mustafa held under the aegis of the ISO in collaboration with the office of advisor on student affairs of the university.
The speakers called for unity among Muslims in the light of teachings of Hazrat Mohammad(PBUH), the Prophet of Islam and the last apostle of God. They said that the fall of Muslims was due to deviance from the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam.
They said that the Prophet of Islam left behind Quran and his Sunnah for Muslim Ummah. They said had the Muslims acted upon Quran and Sunnah, they would have been role model for entire humanity across the world. They said that Muslims have to follow the footprints of Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) to lead the humanity.
Dr Khalid Iraqi, Dr Ghazal Khwaja, Dr Jameel Kazmi, Dr Tanveer Kazmi, ISO Karachi president Ali Owais were among hundreds of others who attended the Youm-e-Mustafa (PBUH).
