(AhlulBayt News Agency) - On Tuesday, 13th of December, 2016, the National Unity Week program of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the spiritual leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky taking place in various zones of the Movement held in Kaduna.
The program took place at Kwara State Governors lodge, opposite Luggard Hall, Kaduna. It began at about 11:00 a.m. with Ziyarat to the Holy Prophet (S) followed by songs of praise to the Holy Prophet and his progeny by Poets (Shu'arah) of the Movement.
Scholars from some faction of Sunni domination of Tijjaniyyah Sufi Order were in attendance. Similarly, scholars from Jafariyyah School of thought and disciples of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky from Islamic Republic of Iran, Hujjatul Islam Abdullahi Zango, Sheikh Abdul Hameed Bello, national coordinator Shuhadah Foundation, Sheikh Aliyu Turmidhi, coordinator Kaduna zone, Sayyid Sheikh Muhammad Jawwad, Director I.M. Publication and other dignitaries from around the zone were all in attendance.
Sheikh Ahmad Rufa'i from Sunni school of Tijjaniyyah Sufi order speaks on the theme: The obligational love and affection of the house fold of the Holy Prophet.
During his lectures, he expounded the necessity of the love of the Prophet's progeny and the injunction of adhering to their path after the Holy Prophet. Sheikh Ahmad Rufa'i buttressed his speeches by citing various vases from different chapters of the Holy Qur'an such as verses of Wilayah, verse of Mubahala and others verses that, the genesis directly or indirectly implies adherence to the family of the Holy Prophet after his era. He also cited several traditions with their textual proofs not implying the heirs of the Holy Prophet but also directly commanding the Muslim Ummah to strictly hold to the path of the 12 holy Imams.
While underlying on the necessity of unity of the Muslim Ummah irrespective of the diversified school of though, Sheikh Rufa'i exemplifies how some great and ancient scholars from Qadiriyyah Sufi Order, Tijjaniyyah Sufi Order left voluminous treatises such as Kanzul Ammal, Kitabul Bushra by Sheikh Usman Bin Fodi(18th century Islamic revivalist of west Africa) implying that the Holy progeny of the Prophet (pbuh) was an only elements to strictly adhered to in other to get ride and to breach from the differences of various convictions in Islam. He also noted out from their treatise, when and how the revivalist of the 21st century and his faithful disciples will face all form of intimidation, tortures, hatred, smear-campaign from some faction of the disguised Muslims fellow and rulers of his era, from around the 1438 A.H., who is no one other than Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky(H).
