According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – Ahlul Bayt World Assembly has issued a statement condemning Theresa May's statements in Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
In part of this statement it is said, "The colonialist government of England accuses Iran of interference in Yemen war and has announced that they are coming back to Persian Gulf to protect their interests while they ostensibly help terrorists politically and by arming them. But they have to be aware the people of the region know them as enemy and seditionists"
The full text of the statement is as follows:
In the Name of God
"And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease". Surah At-Tawbah [9:12]
The colonialist Prime Minister of the UK has shamelessly restated her Arab allies' claims in Persian Gulf Cooperation Council by saying that Iran is the biggest threat to the region in order to please them most. This newly minted prime minister, has naively interfered in domestic issues of Iran and has repeated her country's long history of meddlings in other countries' affairs and seditions including creation of the Bahai Faith and Wahabism.
Theresa May has provoked the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council against Iran in order to gain credit and has said, "Britain will help these countries so that they can stand against Iran's disastrous actions in the region"
Although these statements have been said in order to gain profits, sell more weapons to Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, develop military bases, and continue seditionist actions in the region, the English government has a long history of enmity with Iran, crime and bloodshed. As the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, who pointed out England and the U.S's numerous crimes in Iran and the numerous profits they have made in Iran over the years, clarified, "Islamic Revolution of Iran stopped England and the U.S from making profits in Iran as these two countries had the biggest unlawful and unjust profits in Iran".
He also said, "Iranian people are right not to forget their hatred to England. What England did to Iran was catastrophic and no one will ever forget that".
The statements of the Prime Minister of England are interventionist, irresponsible, provocative, and shameless and stress the continuation of enmity and grudge against Muslims. These statements are said while the puppet Arab countries are losing on political and military fronts and Resistance Forces have conquered all their terrorist bases.
The colonialist government of England accuses Iran of interference in Yemen war and has announced that they are coming back to Persian Gulf to protect their interests while they ostensibly help terrorists politically and by arming them. But they have to be aware the people of the region know them as enemy and seditionists
All these actions and stands are taken while the Saudi regime and its allies have not been able to achieve anything in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq despite their heinous violations and interference and now have to deal with financial crises.
Ahlul Bayt World Assembly states its stand as the following:
- We strongly condemn the interventionist, seditionist, and provocative actions of the UK against Iran
- We urge the English parliament members, institutions, and political figures to question this woman and submit an impeachment bill so that the interests of the UK will not be in danger any longer
- We urge Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to warn this country for their irresponsible statements and reconsider relations through diplomatic and political measures as in the light of current events, improvement of the relations is not beneficial for our country. The Supreme Leader said that relations with England are unstable as they cannot help showing enmity and will bite once in a while.
- We urge the revolutionary institutions and people to condemn England's seditionist meddlings which are intended to provoke sectarian and religious wars and to unveil this country's conspiracies by informing people.
- We urge the Iranian Parliament to reconsider relations with England and answer these interventionist and rude remarks firmly
- We urge people, parties, and groups of the country to condemn these remarks through peaceful statements, demonstrations and rallies.
May the oppressed succeed against the oppressors
