Senior Iranian Shia cleric visits Jakarta Islamic College

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Heading a delegation to Jakarta, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki visited the International Islamic College in Indonesian capital City.

Having a meeting with the President of the center, the seasoned cleric discussed the unity related issues highlighting the standing potential Muslims enjoy in various areas of philosophy, Mysticism, and jurisprudence.
 
"We are ready to cooperate in practical phase of talks and support  Iran-Indonesia scientific trips," underscored the President of Iran top unity body placing stress on the necessity of scientific relation between Indonesian university professors and Scientific centers in Qom.  
 
"The victory of Islamic Revolution of Iran led to a new religious trend across the World," pointed out the Ayatollah and highlighted the telling role of Islamic Republic of Iran in forwarding unity related projects in the World of Islam.
 
To Ayatollah Araki, Establishing the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought is a necessity from both logical and religious aspect.
 
Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought always places stress on the importance of unity among Muslims and urges them to do their best in furthering and preserving it by following the Islamic teachings and instructions.

The World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought was commissioned to promote unity among the followers of the entire Islamic schools of thought, and has been holding the International Islamic Unity Conferences every year ever since then, during the Unity Week which marks the auspicious birth anniversary of the Prophet of Islam, based on the Shiite and the Sunni schools of thought.
