Photos: Iraqi Shiite Shabak Kurds mark Arbaeen of imam Hussein in freed town

Shabak Kurds who practice the Shiite faith of Islam marked the annual ceremony of Arbaeen for imam Hussein in the town of Bartella this week. Bartella was under the control of ISIS for more than two years and was liberated by the Iraqi army in October. Many Shabaks live in the Nineveh plains including Bartella which is a predominantly Christian town.
