According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – in the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks to Holy Shrines in Samarra, a conference was held in Samarra on November 2nd.
The purpose of this conference was to stress on national unity and tolerance among different tribes and people of Iraq.
In this glorious gathering which was held in "Samarra Stadium" many people including political and religious figures, state officials, and also Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi commanders were present.
Also, a delegation from Ahlul Bayt World Assembly including " Hujjat al-Islam Pahlavan Zadeh Behbahani", executive director of the Iraqi Ahlul Bayt Assembly, and "Hasan Khakzad", the director of African Ahlul Bayt World Assembly, were present in this conference.
Official from Iranian embassy in Iraq and representatives of the Grand Ayatollah's and holy shrines were also present.
Hujjat al-Islam Pahlavan Zadeh Behbahani delivered a speech on behalf of the Supreme leader's representative in Iraq, "Ayatollah Sayyed Mujtaba Hussaini".
Among the other speakers were the governor of Nineveh, Samarra, the custodianship of the Holy Shrines in Samarra, "Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Yusef al-Naseri", Sunni scholars' representative in Samarra, Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi representative.
In the end of the conference a resolution on condemning the terrorist crimes, especially crimes committed by ISIS, was issued. The unity among different sects of Islam was also stressed.
