(AhlulBayt News Agency) - in a bid to promote the culture of Ashura and retell the events related to the uprising of Imam Hossein against tyranny, Iran’s Foundation of Islamic Studies decided to publish the Russian version of the comic strip book ‘10 Stories on Ashura’ in collaboration with Qadiani publications in Moscow.
This work which was translated by Fariba Kalhor from Persian into Russian and was illustrated by Hesam al-Din Tabatabayi features of 10 stories based on the 10 influential characters in the epic of Ashura written in a simple language and beautiful illustrations for children.
Earlier, the Foundation of Islamic Studies published other works on Imam Hossein (AS) and the eventful day of Ashura such as ‘Karbala Stories’, and ‘The Uprising of Imam Hossein (AS)’ for the Russian language readers.
