First seminar of Shia Friday Prayers Leaders held in Delhi

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – the First seminar of Shia Friday Prayers Leaders was held in Delhi by efforts of Indian members of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly.

Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary-General was the special guest who pointed out at the importance of Friday Prayers and said, “Imam must have thorough knowledge of religious and political issues”.

Hujjat al-Islam Akhtari considered the role of Friday Prayers Leaders in creating a link between people as important and said, “the Leaders must have a vast network to reach others and discuss various issues”.

Speaking about the latest developments in World of Islam he stated, “the western countries have shut their eyes on Saudi crimes in Yemen and their support of terrorism in Syria and Iraq”.

“After over a year and a half of bombing Yemen, Saudi Arabia has gained nothing but humility and failure”. He clarified.

“The U.S and some other countries in the region are trying to topple the Syrian president, Bashar al-Asad, because of his support of Resistance. However, Syria is fighting the terrorists full force”. He continued.

Akhtari considered the U.S, Israel, and Saudi Arabia the biggest supporters of terrorism in Syria and Iraq and said, “despite all claims, the U.S is supporting Wahabism and terrorism in the region”.

Also, he pointed out at the Western conspiracies against Iran and said, “In spite of all these, the Islamic Revolution continues to lead the Muslims stronger than ever”.
