(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Gen.Tukur Yusuf Buratai is the Chief Of Army Staff of Nigeria. He was appointed as the Chief Of Army Staff by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the president of Nigeria. He was appointed after the downfall of the Jonathan administration.
Jonathan administration enhanced the activities of Boko Haram in many ways. After the failure of Goodluck Jonathan Ebele in the 2015 election, the attacks of Boko Haram insurgents started diminishing due to the fact that the real sponsors of their activities failed. Some people use to believe that the blemish of the Boko Haram insurgents was as a result of the appointment of Buratai as the Chief Of Army Staff. For that, they call him a professional.
On Saturday, the 12th of December, 2015, the Convoy of the Chief Of Army Staff, Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai encountered some youths of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, protesting the murder of their brothers and sisters by some men of the Nigerian Army around the Movement's center, Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah, Zaria. The youth were trying to forward their complain about what happened to their brothers and sisters. The COAS, Instead of welcoming the complain or changing his route to avoid the protesters, he ordered his hoodlums of the Nigerian Army to open fire on the protesters, thereby killing more of them. The Chief Of Army Staff's convoy passed successfully at the cost of some people's lives. When asked by the press about his version of the scenario, he said that his convoy decided not to change route because, some men of the Nigerian Army were ready to resign if the convoy change its route. What he meant here is that, the "service" of some of his staff is better than the "lives" of the Nigerian citizens whose tax money is used to pay him and his staff. What a coward!!
Few minutes after the disappearance the convoy of the Chief Of Army Staff, another set of the Nigerian Army, heavily armed with sophisticated weapons and explosives appeared at the Movement's center again. They sieged the center and awaited for command. On the other hand, brothers of the Islamic Movement were busy trying to save the lives of the injured victims of the attack, while women and children were woefully crying and mourning for the lost of their loved ones. After sieging the center, the injured people have no way to seek for medical attention. Therefore, most of them died one after the other. At night, the Army received the command to invade the center. They killed as much as they could including women, children and infants using dangerous weapons and explosives. At dawn, Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah was completely invaded.
The Buratai's Army dilated the attack to Gyallesu, where the leader of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) reside. They killed more than 1000 innocent and defenseless people while chanting some slogans of victory, as if they were fighting a professional Army. At Gyallesu, they used fire to burn innocent people to death. After the killings, they met the leader of the Movement at his house. The Army burnt his elder sister, Hajiya Fatima Yakub Zakzaky to death while she cries and seek for help. The Buratai's Army shot and killed 3 of the 4 remaining sons of the leader, including the 13 years old boy, Humaid, at his presence. The Army shot the wife of the leader, 6 times and let her bleed while he watches. Bullets were rained on the leader of the Movement. While they bleeds, the Army abducted the leader and his wife. Indeed, Gen. Buratai is a coward.
After the ZariaMassacre, the Buratai's hoodlums abducted some of the girls of the Islamic Movement. They took them away while most of them had injuries ranging from rape, torture, fire and humiliation. After 9 months, neither Gen. Buratai nor any of his hoodlums reveal the whereabouts of the Zaria Girls. The Zaria Girls are students of different higher institutions in Nigeria. The abduction cost them a complete session in their schools. Some of them faces the threat of loosing their academic program due to the policy of their schools, that if a student dippers for a complete session, he/she must rejoined the program in the next year, otherwise, he/she will be withdrawn. The school residential permit of some of the students is facing the threat of expiry because, they are final year students. General Buratai, what a girls abductor!
The oppression against the Zaria Girls is extremely awful. I wonder how the parents of the girls are living, knowing that their daughters were abducted and probably facing an acute oppression somewhere in the hands of the Government. The Zaria Girls are law abiding citizens, they were never found guilty of any crime. The oppression against them by the Buratai's hoodlums is excessively terrible. They are now helpless in the hands of terrorist, probably praying and ferreting for help. A real human will feel obligated to join the struggle for the emancipation of the Zaria Girls. This is because, the oppression against them is a worse peccancy which can invoke God's intercession.
