Top Pak Shia leader 'Allama Jafri' faints during 68 days of hunger strike; Nawaz govt still silent over ongoing Shia killings

Top Pakistani Shiite leader and leader of Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM), Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, has again fallen sick, shifted to his house from the Hunger strike camp, where he is under constant doctor’s observation before being shifted to a hospital, according MWM spokesman.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Top Pakistani Shiite leader and leader of Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM), Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, has again fallen sick, shifted to his house from the Hunger strike camp, where he is under constant doctor’s observation before being shifted to a hospital, according MWM spokesman.

MWM spokesman informed that during a telephonic addressing with the people of Skardu sitting in a hunger strike camp, Allama Nasir fell to the floor.

He had suffered an ailment earlier, as well, during the July 17 MWM women protest rally in Islamabad and other cities of Pakistan.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas has been on a hunger strike since May 13 and it has been over 68 days that he hasn’t properly eaten, resulting in malnutrition and loss of 24Kgs of his weight.

The hunger strike protest was to condemn the atrocities suffered by Shiites at the hands of terrorists and the State.
