Iran to exhibit Quranic artworks in China in holy month of Ramadan

Iran’s Cultural Center in Shanghai, China, plans to mount a Quran exhibition in the city in the holy month of Ramadan.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Iran’s Cultural Center in Shanghai, China, plans to mount a Quran exhibition in the city in the holy month of Ramadan.

Behnam Azad, the Iranian cultural representative in Shanghai, said that one of the city’s mosques will host the exhibition for a week.

Quran copies, as well as Quranic calligraphy works and miniatures by Iranian artists will be presented at the exhibition.

The center will also put on display a collection of Quranic software products, digital Quran reading pens, translations of the Quran in Chinese and English, and handicrafts.

Quran reading sessions during the holy month of Ramadan are among other programs of the center to be held at mosques in Shanghai.

Prominent Iranian Qari Mujtaba Muhammad Beigi will also travel to Shanghai to recite verses from the Quran in sessions planned to be held from the 17th to the 23rd of the holy month.
