20th Day of Allama Jafari Hunger Strike against Shia genocide in Pakistan; PAT and Minhaj ul Quran Pledge Support

Minhaj ul Quran senior leader Hasan Mohiuddin and Pakistan Awami Tehreek's (PAT) central secretary general Khurram Nawaz Gandapur met Majlis Wahdul Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas on the day 20 of the unprecedented Hunger Camp in Islamabad.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Minhaj ul Quran senior leader Hasan Mohiuddin and Pakistan Awami Tehreek's (PAT) central secretary general Khurram Nawaz Gandapur met Majlis Wahdul Muslimeen (MWM) Allama Raja Nasir Abbas on the day 20 of the unprecedented Hunger Camp in Islamabad.

The senior members of PAT and MQ arrived at the camp to praise and pledge support to MWM's chief Allama Raja Nasir, who is on a hunger strike since May 13.

In a press conference after their meeting, they admired Allama's efforts and exclaimed that they have come to extend this support to the camp as it represents the oppressed. They said that this remains the voice of the subjugated and PML-N's indifference will lead to grave consequences. The members condemned the target killing of innocent shiites across Pakistan and warned the government of using National Action Plan vindictively against their contemporaries.

In reply, Allama Nasir addressed the media, welcoming the members to his platform. He reiterated that Government has National Action Plan has been manipulated in building cases against the innocent, the extent of opening indiscriminate firing on locals at Parachinar.

He said that the attitude of the government has no resolve and unless changed, no development of Pakistan would be ordained in the near future. He said Pakistan has to forgo the extremist Takfiri mind-set which remains a hurdle in all development.

He reminded the media of PTI Chairman Imran Khan's arrival to the camp and his promise of support in this matter, but to no avail as KP government has yet to take action regarding the same.
