Only surviving son of Sheikh Zakzaky got Married / Photos

Islamic Movement in Nigeria;

On 21st of May, 2016, equivalent to 14 Sha'aban (lunar month), the eldest and the only son of leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, his Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Muhammad Ibrahim Zakzaky and his bride Malama Maimunat Ali get married.

AhlulBayt News Agency - On 21st of May, 2016, equivalent to 14 Sha'aban (lunar month), the eldest and the only son of leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, his Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Muhammad Ibrahim Zakzaky and his bride Malama Maimunat Ali get married. The marriage took place at Katsina where the eldest brother of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Sheikh Abdulkadir Yaqoub was the Waliy of the groom Muhammad Ibraheem Zakzaky. Malama Maimuna was given hand in marry on a dowry of N5,000,000.

The marriage was scheduled to hold in Rabi'ul Auwal, but was postponed following the Nigerian Army pogrom on Islamic Movement and its leader on December last year. The marriage followed the mandate of his eminence leader of the Islamic Movement during a visit to him at Abuja, last month.

Sheikh Zakzaky was blessed with 9 children. 7 males and 2 females, they are; Muhammad Ibraheem Zakzaky, Mahmud Zakzay, Ahmad Zakzaky, Hamid Zakzaky, Hammad Zakzaky, Ali Zakzaky, Humaid Zakzaky, Suhaila Zakzaky and Nusaiba Zakzaky.

It could be recalled that, the former despotic political regime of Good Ebele Jonathan indiscriminately exterminated the lives of 3 of his sons on 14th of July, 2014, during the International Quds Day in Zaria. Subsequently, on 14th of December, 2015, the Nigerian Army exterminated the remaining 3 under the despotic government of Rtd. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and thousands of disciples of the Sheikh, stormed his house whisked him away and later burnt and razed down the house.

The marriage witnessed multitude of brothers and sisters in attendance from far and near the country. Ameers of some various zones and people from all walks of life were also in attendance among which include Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya Katsina, Sheikh Qasim Umar Sokoto, Reverend Yohanna Buru of Evangelical Church Sabon Tasha Kaduna.
