AhlulBayt News Agency - In a ceremony held in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, a number of memorizers of the Quran were honored.
The ceremony was held by the Indonesia branch of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, Qaaf news agency reported.
Those praised at the event were boys and girls who have finished learning the 29th and 30th Juzes (parts) of the Quran by heart.
It began by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by Tawasheeh and Ibtihal performances and recitation of a poem in praise of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the beloved daughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Later at the ceremony, certificates of honor and Mushaf Tajweed (copies of the Quran including the rules of Tajweed published by the Astan of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq) were presented to the Quran memorizers.
The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine has been organizing Quranic courses in its branches in Indonesia for some time.
Its seventh Quran teachers training course began last week with the participation of Quran activists from Jakarta and its suburbs.
