Sayyida Fatima's Birth Anniversary Celebrated in Kano, Nigeria / Photos 1437-2016

AhlulBayt News Agency - Followers of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) in Kano Nigeria just like other cities in Nigeria and other cities of the world came out in en mass on Wednesday 20th Jimadal Thani 1437 (30/3/2016) celebrating, rejoicing for yet seeing another birthday of Sayyida Zahra (AS).

The celebratory procession this year of the  Maulid of the daughter of our Noble Prophet (SAWA), Sayyida Fatimatul Zahra (AS) was led by Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki and initiated from the Old City Central Mosque, passed some major inner street neighborhood  of Old Kano city that include Yola, Kasuwar Kurmi, Koki and ending at Fagge Jumma’at Mosque.

Participants chanted different poems and poetry of Sayyida Zahra (AS) and also a call to FREE ZAKZAKY (H) with many celebrants, well-wishers along the streest rejoicing with the maulud celebration.

In his speech at the closing procession, the guest speaker Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir briefly expressed “Who” and the “Position” of Sayyida Zahra, our Role Daughter, Role Mother, Role Woman and Role Housewife and much more elucidating a brief of her biography whic is worthy of emulation.

Mal Sunusi also reiterated the examplanary teachings of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) towards Women with utmost feelings and kindness.

He also cautioned  the Oppressors of the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria, Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) and the Movement in general to desist from all forms of oppression because days in this world and whatever position one may hold  will end and he/ she must give account for all actions on a day of no return for make-up.

He also reiterated the stance of Movement on the unconditional release of its leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H), his followers that are held unjust, returning of  bodies of those they killed during the December 12-14th Zaria Massacre and compensation on all destroyed properties.

Sayyida Fatiatul Zahra was born on 20th Jumadal Thani which is also the same birthday of Ayatullah Ruhullah Khomeni (QS) the Islamic movement leader of this century, and this day has been marked as “Women’s Day”.

The Maulud procession ended happily around 1:30pm with  closing prayers from Malama Maimuna Abdullahi.
