AhlulBayt News Agency - The IDP Relief Group, affiliated to the Supreme Religious Authority in the holy city of Najaf represented by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Sistani, has distributed 1500 food baskets and financial grants to the displaced families at Salahuddin IDP Camp.
Sheikh Bassem al-Nasrawi, member of the Relief Group, said in a statement to the International Media, “ A delegation from the IDP Relief Group visited Al-Abbasiyat Camp in Salahuddin, which is a camp that temporarily houses thousands of internally displaced families from Samarra and Tikrit until their regions are liberated from ISIS terrorists, and distributed over 1500 food baskets and financial grants across the families.”
Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Sistani says there is great hope and prays for the families’ safe return to their homes very soon.
