Egyptian Shia Scholar Rasim al-Nafis: Hezbollah Only Key to Dignity of Arab World

An Egyptian Shi’a scholars said that Hezbollah is the only key to the dignity of the Arab world and noted that the Lebanese Islamic resistance group remains the only honour left in the Arab world after the signing of the disgraceful Camp David Accords.

AhlulBayt News Agency - In an article written by Dr. Ahmad Rasim al-Nafis, an Egyptian Shi’a scholar on his website Elnafis in regard to the recent decision by the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council (P)GCC to brand Hezbollah as a terrorist group, the scholar noted that the decision adopted by the Saudi regime and its Arab allies and agents is unsurpassed because Israel itself has not been able to force the European Union to adopt such a measure.

He emphasized that while the (P)GCC member states made such a decision in regard to Hezbollah, they have never dared to criticize and condemn the Zionist regime’s daily crimes against the oppressed Palestinian nation as well as these actions being abominable, they are also an execution of human esteem and dignity.

The Egyptian Shi’a scholar said that Hezbollah is the only key to the dignity of the Arab world and noted that the Lebanese Islamic resistance group remains the only honour left in the Arab world after the signing of the disgraceful Camp David Accords by Egyptian President Anwar el-Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin on 17 September 1978.

Dr. al-Nafis referred to the inability of the Persian Gulf countries to eliminate terrorism, saying members of the (P)GCC has been incapable of issuing even one bill against terrorist organizations in Syria because it benefits from Saudi financial and social influence and put all of their efforts into saving Takfiri terrorist groups from the cesspool of death and destruction.

The political analyst of the Muslim world said that according to Saudi Arabia and its allies, only ISIL and Hezbollah are considered terrorist organizations, but al-Qaeda and other extremist groups who kill and behead people and eat their hearts and livers, have been removed from this list.

Dr. al-Nafis stressed that what is certain, is that this “scandalous” decision constitutes a clear and explicit support for Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq.
