AhlulBayt News Agency - On Sunday 21/2/2016, the ancient central city of Kano, was filled up with protesters and sympathizers of Zaria December 12-14th, 2015 Nigerian Army massacre while calling for the immediate unconditional release of the leader of the Islamic movement in Nigeria Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).
The peaceful protest have started from Qadiriyyah center near in old Kano city Friday mosque due to the stationing of Police within its vicinity. The protest march followed Makwarari neighborhood, Jakara market, Kofar Wambai, Wambai market, IBB way, Kofar Mazugal and ended at Old Kano city Filin Dalar Gyada.
Mal Sunusi Abdulkadir in a closing protest march speech he delivered reiterated the demands of the Islamic Movement that include the unconditional release of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.
He also stressed Islamic movement would not relent in taking appropriate measures in seeing Shaikh Zakzaky (H) and all unduly held members of the Islamic movement of are release and gain there freedom, the return of dead bodies of those killed by Nigerian army for appropriate burial as well as paying due compensation on all destroyed properties.
Protesters before closing prayers unequivocally pledged their allegiance to remain resolute in standing up against all injustice.
