Thousands protest in Kano, Nigeria denounce execution of Sheikh Nimr

AhlulBayt News Agency - Thousands Members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria in Kano on Sunday 3rd January, 2016 just like other members in Nigeria join the international community in denouncing the killing of the renown Muslim cleric Shaikh Nimr by the regime of Saudi Arabia.

The protest march that started around 4:30pm pass some residential neighborhood and major streets in Kano city that included Gwammaja, IBB way, and ended at Kofar Wambai at around 5:45pm.

The protest marchers also called for the immediate release of Shaikh Ibraheem Yaquob El Zakzaky (H) and his followers held by the Nigerian Army since December 13th, 2015 with many having injuries with no desired medical attention which is there right.

Malam Sunusi Abdul Kadir after the protest march made a brief speech that included denouncing the tragic killing of Shaikh Nimr and the continued demand of the Islamic Movement over the atrocities of the Nigerian government on Shaikh Zakzaky (H) and the Islamic movement.

Earlier in the day members held a prayer session at Kano Hussainiyya.
