Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari expressed concern over the intensified security measures against civil legitimate demands of the people of Bahrain.
Calling it a failed approach in solving the country's current crisis, Jaber Ansari said the indiscriminate way of dealing with legitimate demands of the Bahraini people by the country’s security forces is a failed strategy never going to solve the issue in Bahrain.
Recalling that the occupation of Palestine by the Zionist regime and Takfiri terrorism and extremism is the main, common threat for the Islamic nation, he said Iran considers the approaches employed by Bahrain's government illegitimate which would intensify the crisis in the country and create opportunities for the enemies of the Islamic nation.
He expressed hope that Bahrain's government would take steps to resume serious, effective dialogue with recognized leaders in Bahrain focusing on constructive political methods to solve the country's crisis, rather than insisting on inefficient approaches during past four years which had no effects but the complication of the situation in the country.
