Nigeria: An Urgent Message from Abul Fadl Foundation 'WE ARE AGAINST THE ARREST OF SHEIKH ZAKZAKY'

In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful.

This is an urgent message from Abul Fadl Foundation to brothers of the Islamic movement in Nigeria. We decided to produce this message following a series of military brutal attack since Saturday 12, December 2015.

After the massacre committed by the army at Hussainiyyah Baqiyyatullah, they proceeded to the Gyallesu area, resident of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky (H) where they open fire and killed brothers mercilessly. Many brothers attained martyrdom; we cannot say the exact figure as for now.

Our brave martyrs sacrificed their lives to the extent that the army could not reach the resident of Sheikh Zakzaky. Only able to reached after they killed everyone present.

The task ahead now is left for those still alive. We must take all measures to ensure the safety of our revered leader.

It is known to us that the army have today arrested our leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky (H). They take him to an unidentified location. We are using this medium to call on all brothers across the nation to come out for a Procession. Brothers that are in places like Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Zariya, etc we will inform them the meeting point for the procession.

Brothers must remain under control not that we will do things on our wishes, it is the reason why we are liaising with Malam Qasimu Umar Sokoto for steps ahead; Because he is now the person in-charge and responsible for execution of all activities.

The theme of the procession as well as slogans should be, “WE ARE AGAINST THE ARREST OF SHEIKH ZAKZAKY”. We also urge brothers to remain on the principles they are known for. The procession is continuous!
