Four human rights organizations called for a conference to discuss the human rights situation in Bahrain.
The Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain, Bahrain Human Rights Watch, and a Canadian based organization called for the conference on December 10, the World Human Rights Day.
They also urged Bahraini people to participate in an online dialogue and mention all cases of human rights violations in Bahrain since 2011, the Manama Post reported.
Bahrain has been witnessing a popular uprising since February 2011.
Many Bahrainis have been tortured or killed and hundreds more injured and arrested during the regime’s ongoing crackdown on peaceful demonstrations.
The Manama regime has been severely criticized by human rights groups for its harsh crackdown on anti-regime protests.
