According to non14.net, Jamil Zaheri, head of the “Dhulfaqar” Islamic Institute in Iraq, said that the Quranic plan was implemented by a group of members of the institute aiming to serve the pilgrims in a different way.
Those pilgrims interested in the Quranic plan wrote one or more verses of the Divine Book each to show their handwriting skills.
He added that another copy of the Holy Quran was also written by calligraphers and experts in this plan.
The institute will hold the Quranic plan in the future and gift the handwritten Quran copies to the museums of the holy shrines of Imam Ali (AS), Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS), and the holy shrines in Kazemayn.
Pilgrims from England, Iran, Pakistan, and some Arab countries as well as many Iraqis took part in the Quranic plan.
