Iranian official calls Arbaeen a Shia ‘spiritual war game’

A senior Iranian lawmaker has praised Shia Muslims for holding what he calls a “spiritual war game”.

There is no doubt that the largest human gathering on earth was held under the name of Imam Hussain, Qolamali Haddad-Adel said on Friday.

While the U.S. and Israel are carrying out their atrocious acts in the region, the Arba’een gathering is a show of spiritual power, he said.
