Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani warns Saudis against consequences of Ayatollah Nimr’s execution

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani warned Saudi Arabia about the consequences of the execution of the death sentence imposed on Ayatollah al-Nimr and emphasized that Iran will not remain silent against such action.

Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani stated that the government of Saudi Arabia is Iran’s greatest enemy because this monarchy is a client state of the United States and carries out their sinister plans in the region, including using its vast petrodollars to establish and finance Takfiri terrorist groups, such as ISIL and Boko Haram.

The renowned Iranian scholar condemned the Saudi Interior Ministry’s approval of the implementation of the death sentence on the prominent anti-Saudi regime activist and Shi’ite cleric, Ayatollah Nimr Baqir al-Nimr and warned the House of Saud that the consequences of its implementation.

He said that Ayatollah al-Nimr is a Muslim who rose against the oppression of this infanticidal regime and added that the House of Saud are making a “grave mistake.”

“We condemn this decision and stress that we will remain silent in this regard,” he said.

Ali Muhammad Baqir al-Nimr, Ayatollah al-Nimr’s nephew, has also been also sentenced to death over his alleged role in anti-regime protests in 2012, when he was 17 years old.
