Ahlul Bayt News Agency - A day-long Majlis-e-Hussaini (Ashura mourning) was held at Dangerpora in Budgam district which was attended by thousands of people from Magam and adjacent areas.
Some Shia scholars and Ulema, threw light on the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain and the incidents of Karbala.
The Majlis started with recitation of holy Quran, followed by Marsiya and Navahkhani.
Later, the procession of Zuljanah was carried out which went through various streets and culminated in the Imam Bara.
The Majlis was organised under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association.
